1. Day 1

   Arrive Arusha

   Meet your safari guide, gear check and overnight at a garden lodge.

2. Day 2

   Tarangire

   Full-day game drive among baobabs and huge elephant herds.

3. Day 3

   Central Serengeti

   Drive north into the Serengeti with afternoon big-cat tracking.

4. Day 4

   Serengeti

   Dawn and dusk game drives, optional hot-air balloon at sunrise.

5. Day 5

   Ngorongoro

   Descend into the crater for rhino, lion and flamingo sightings.

6. Day 6

   Fly to Zanzibar

   Scenic flight to the coast, evening at leisure in Nungwi.

7. Day 7

   Zanzibar

   Free day for snorkelling, dhow sailing or Stone Town spice tours.

8. Day 8

   Departure

   Transfer to Zanzibar airport.
